Based in West Wales, we work all over the country offering a comprehensive range of furniture conservation and restoration services.
We are passionate about preserving antique furniture for the future and maintaining a piece's integrity. As such, we do a lot of work for Wales' Historic Houses and Museums (please see Our CV) whilst continuing to work on smaller private commissions.
Our Conservator, Hugh Haley, has been working in the restoration field for 30 years, specialising in Welsh Oak and traditional repairs. Hugh is a member of :
BAFRA - British Antique Furniture Restorers' Association
ICON - Institute of Conservation
& we are on the Conservation Register and are involved with the Conservation Matters in Wales group
We operate entirely within the guidelines laid down in the ECCO professional code of ethics and combine traditional skills (using hand tools when practicable) with the most up to date techniques being introduced by museum conservators.
