Welcome to Inspirational Art4u where you may view free galleries of contemporary art on canvas UK as well as a selection of black and white cartoons, colour cartoons and humorous illustrations. All the fine artwork and cartoons shown on this site are offered for sale by the international emerging UK artist, Edward McNaught-Davis, who resides and works, in the main, on the West Wales coast. Many of the Edward’s paintings displayed on this site (www.inspirationalart4u.biz) are inspirational works of art which have been termed recently as cool pictures and famous landscape art to own and to cherish.
The visual art aspects of this site have been categorised into three main areas; paintings gallery, cartoon gallery and “What’s New?”. The Site Map shows all areas on one page for your convenience.
The painting gallery mainly comprises artwork painted with watercolour (watercolor) on paper, acrylic on canvas or on panel, pastel on card or on paper and oil paints on canvas. Artwork subject matter consists of traditional compositions such as Landscapes, Seascapes, Woodlands, Rivers and Streams, Waterfalls and Sunsets.
All original art is for sale by Edward McNaught-Davis unless there is a note to say otherwise. Some paintings are available too as professionally produced prints with a buyer’s choice of sizes and finish. Options are available for choosing your own mats/mounts and frames. More prints will be added to the growing range soon.
The cartoon gallery is divided into black and white cartoons and colour cartoons of which some are humorous illustrations. All of the black and white cartoons have been sold to publishers and used for a variety of purposes. The colour cartoons were either commissioned or were illustrated by Edward McNaught-Davis to reflect his humorous state of mind at the time.
Edward's contemporary paintings, cartoons and humorous illustrations hang in private collections within the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, Australia and the USA. Edward McNaught-Davis’ fine art paintings and cartoons have been shown on UK Television too and are frequently being shown at exhibitions as well as on free galleries of contemporary art of a virtual nature.
