SPI Serial flash chips are being used on many new boards, we have the 25VF080B 50-4C-S2AF SOIC, Macronix MX25L8005PC-15G and the W25X80VAIZ in stock. we have a few other SOIC types also.

Soldered BIOS Repair Service We offer a Soldered BIOS Repair Service for PLCC and VSOP type EEPROM's. Before using this service it is important that you should have tried all BIOS recovery options provided by your motherboard maker or BIOS maker such as AMI BIOS, Award BIOS or Phoenix BIOS. This procedure should be the final attempt at repair before replacing the motherboard. Please read the terms and conditions on the soldered BIOS repair page before using the service.

Pre Flashed BIOS Chips

Preflashed BIOS Chips are available for some motherboards and the range is expanding. If I receive a lot of requests for a particular model then I will add it to the Pre flashed BIOS Chip section.

BIOS Recovery

BIOS Recovery can sometimes be accomplished by following the makers recovery options eliminating the need to make use of this service. Providing your floppy drive tries to access the disk during the boot process then there is hope that any recovery option may be successful.
Some boards have a recovery jumper that can be used to reload a damaged BIOS, read your motherboard makers manual.
